Four things I learned this week, mostly from Carson:
1 - Little kids are sponges and pick up anything you say or do - especially when it's Crazy Uncle J doing something funny. J teaches Carson things like saying "holla at 'cha boy", doing big 1st down motions while watching football and to not play in the trash. Carson teaches J things like being patient when a 2-year old just needs to have a meltdown (because he got reprimanded for playing in the trash), big boy poop in diapers stinks like nothing else, and his affections can usually be bought with food or playtime with playdoh ("Play bowls Carsie, J!")
2 - There is something inherently funny about farts from a little kid, especially when they're pretend farts that only happen because people think they're funny.
3- Teething can cause weird rashes. I picked Carson up at Kristy's yesterday and he had a red rash all over his body + a low-grade fever. A dose of Motrin and Benadryl later (thanks Megan!), and he was fine. Noticed later that he's cutting a molar. Should know by now that Carson's skin reacts to anything - especially teething.
4- We are a busy, on-the-go family that talks alot by cell phone, maybe too much! Proof: Carson knows the ring tone when Jeff calls, and sings along... "bwah, bwah, bwah. Oh hi Dada!"
