We celebrated Carson's 2nd birthday on Sunday, with cake and ice cream at home and a trip to Carson's first baseball game - Clippers v. Bats at Cooper Stadium.
Four things from 8-3-08:
1. Homemade ice cream with warm Smuckers mixed berry topping is to die for! And, thanks Aunt Julie for the super-cute cake and cupcakes.
2. Carson loved watching the 'big mouse' (aka Louseal the Clippers mascot) dance - and will show you just how that mouse dances.
3. Kids are more interesting to watch at baseball games as the game - especially when they're high on sugar and peanuts and hot dogs. The kids had a blast, and so did the adults, some of whom had never been to a baseball game before (no names given to protect the baseball-uninterested!)
4. I love the fact that Carson was genuinely excited about each and every gift he received - and continues to be excited about his 'new toys' every morning!
