Octopus kind of day

Today's the kind of day that makes me feel like an octopus with eight legs, each being pulled in a different direction...Carson's not feeling good, sitter is sick for the week so we're scheduling friends & family to pitch in to watch Carson (thank goodness there's lots of loving options!), new work projects, two bosses at work, wanting to be outside in the crisp fall air, you get the picture! If I were a cartoonist, I'd use an illustration like this: (and no, we're not strangling Carson!)
