I've learned a lot about how long food stays good with no power in the last few hours, thanks to the OSU Extension and USDA websites! HMC (Heartland Meadows Ct - not Honda Motor Company) lost power yesterday evening and we're still out, with no ETA on a fix. With the exception of some very un-happy football watchers who missed the games last night, and some soon to be very bad food in the fridge, all is fine. Luckily, it's not hot out and Julie & Mike are close enough to lend an easy hot shower!

1. Run around the yard and dodge flying debris
2. Eat cake & ice cream by flashlight at Gabby's birthday party
3. Play 'hide the ball in the box' by candlelight over and over and over and over
4. Cook breakfast on a grill with the entire neighborhood
